Data Summit 1.0 is an annual international conference covering research in Data Protection & Management (DPM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), mobile, and Internet of Things (IoT); technologies that are driving data complexity, new forms and sources of data. More and more organisations rely on data analytics when it comes to their growth strategy. Starting from these observations, the aim of DPM is to discuss and exchange ideas related to data protection & management.

The Lloyd Group welcomed Chief Guest, Dr. Venkat Iyer, Barrister UK/Ulster University U.K. Editor, The Common Wealth Lawyer. He has also acted as a consultant to a number of governments, private corporations and non-government organizations. We were honoured at his presence in Data Summit 1.0. Dr. Venkat shared his UK experience on Data Protection explaining needs of data protection, highlighted how to tackle privacy breach, discussed terminology such as data subject, data controller and data processor.

The technical session was taken over by Mr. Neeraj Gupta, Risk & Compliance Leader, IBM Corporationwho shared insights into the world of technology and multiple facets of applications.
